Type a command near a nether portal to shatter it open with a glass-breaking sound. The Nether bleeds into the Overworld, slowly corrupting terrain above and below ground into netherrack, lava, and soul sand — and spawning Nether mobs in the corrupted land. A stop command halts the spread.
